Description
Designed these Glass Corner Protectors for glass or plexiglass sheets for my arcade and pinball machines. Wanted a version that worked with multiple thicknesses of glass. These are useful for protecting tempered playfield glass, bezel glass and marquee glass, especially when setting it down on hard surfaces.
These are designed to be printed in TPU95A material and will provide a snug, grippy fit.
A PLA print profile is provided; this has been modified to fit the glass, but shouldn't be used for vertical glass storage as PLA isn't as grippy. Do not print the TPU profile in PLA, it wont fit.
This model includes the following features that I couldn't find elsewhere:
- Protectors for multiple thicknesses of glass (3/16" standard pinball playfield glass on Plate 1, then 1/4", 1/8", 4mm, 5mm and 6mm on subsequent plates).
- A ridge-textured angled base that will sit flush on the ground when the glass is leaned against the wall for storage.
- A mounting hole for attaching an optional suction cup, enabling secure long term storage with less risk of the foot falling off. This can be attached directly with an 18mm suction cup, or with an larger suction cup per pictures. See Maker Supply link for suction cup.
