Fishing Club baseball bat
Print Profile(1)

Description
A heavy dudty fishing club. Quickly dispatch your catch before taking it home for dinner. I printed my first one back in June and used it all summer and fall. I fish way too much, so that club dispatched a lot of salmon in just 3 months. It's still going strong, but it's in my winterized boat and inaccessible right now, so a photo of that one will have to wait until spring. Until then, this photo of the new one I printed will have to wait.
For printing, make sure to use the painted supports I've put into the print profile. Switching to manual may cause the club to tip over during printing, because it ends up a little bit top heavy. The supports are just there to hold up all that weight which is pulling against a rather small contact area with the build plate. Keep the walls somewhat high and the infill heavy for durability. The print orientation is dual purpose. Part of the purpose is to get it to fit on the printer, and part is to help with durability. If printing on a larger printer, it would be best to keep the same print orientation to keep the layer lines angled away from the hitting force, which otherwise would have an increased chance of layer separation on impact.
