Updated Simple 2″ Bluetooth Stereo Speaker

This is an updated and refined version of my simple 2″ Bluetooth stereo speaker, redesigned with a focus on cleaner fit, better alignment, and more reliable assembly. The original version was built when my focus was simply getting prints to succeed — this update reflects a year of experience and significantly improved print quality.

The enclosure is designed for standard, readily available components, making substitutions across brands easy. Improvements include tighter tolerances, proper countersunk fasteners, improved hardware alignment, reduced filament usage, and the addition of a ON/OFF push button LED switch.

This project is intended for makers with basic soldering skills and is ideal as a compact desktop or workshop speaker. All parts print cleanly with minimal supports and assemble with heat-set inserts for durability.

Printing Tips

• Print at 0.2 mm layer height or finer
• PLA or PETG recommended

• Use a soldering iron or heat insert tool for threaded inserts
