Description
Nearly every desk struggles with the same issue: clutter slowly taking over valuable workspace. This modular desk organizer is designed to bring order back in a clean, intentional, and customizable way. Rather than forcing everything into a fixed layout, this system lets you build a setup that fits your workflow, tools, and personal style.
The organizer is made up of individual modules that can be arranged and rearranged as needed. Current modules include a sticky note pad holder with storage underneath, a phone stand, a shallow tray, and a pen/pencil holder. Each piece is designed to feel purposeful and integrated, allowing you to create a desk setup that feels tailored rather than generic. Additional modules can be added over time as your needs change.
This system is designed to work in conjunction with a separate mounting board that contains horizontal slots. For proper fit, the slots must be positioned at the following distances from the front edge of the board:
- 5⁄8 inch
- 1 1⁄4 inches
- 2 5⁄8 inches
- 3 1⁄4 inches
The board itself is not included and must be fabricated separately, allowing you to choose your own size, material, and finish to match your workspace. Drawings in both metric and English units are included in the pictures.
To improve stability of the printed modules, it is recommended to add weight during printing, such as embedding sand or another dense material. Layer height and infill settings do not affect functionality and can be adjusted freely.
For makers who want to expand the system, the .STP and .OBJ files are included to make it easier to design additional accessories that fit the same slot layout. Remixes and extensions are welcome, and if you share your work, please attribute this design. I’m excited to see what others create and how this system grows.
