Description
If the filament is stuck or stops in the AMS unit. Follow disassembly instruction on wiki “Replace the AMS active extrusion wheel assembly” If your AMS active extrusion wheel cover from driving gear unit is cracked.Try to accurately remove cracked parts and clean area properly from plastic debris.
Now use external filament loading to print replacement part provided and enjoy :)
Recommended print settings:
- Material: PETG or ABS (for more durability)
- Layer height: 0.2 mm
- Infill: min 40%
- Supports: not required
⚠ **Note:**
Please check before installation that all remnants of the broken part have been removed and screw the new part not too hard so that the gear turns easily and has no play. Good Luck!
