Honeycomb A4 File Organizer Swappable Label

Introduction: I am presenting my designed A4 File Holder. I created it in two variants to suit your needs:

1. Label Version: Features an interchangeable text plate slot.
2. Clean Version: A sleek design without the plate slot for a pure, minimalist look.

📏 Technical Specifications:

• Dimensions: 250mm x 250mm x 80mm

⚠️ Important Print Settings (Please Read): To ensure the best surface quality and success rate, I strongly recommend using the provided print profile.

• Walls (Perimeters): The profile is set to 3 wall loops for optimal stiffness and durability.

  • Note: It is possible to print with only 2 walls, but you should significantly reduce the print speed to maintain high surface quality.

     

• Brim: I have added custom "mouse ears"  to the corners of the model. Since this is a large print (250x250mm footprint), these ears ensure the model stays firmly attached to the build plate and prevents warping.

• Speed & Infill Strategy:
  • Speed: I recommend printing slower than standard speeds, especially as the height increases.
  • Infill: I have specifically set 0% infill for the section above the base.
  • Reason: During testing, I found that with standard infill, the nozzle would slightly graze the infill grid. This caused the print to vibrate, lowering the quality of the outer walls.
  • Solution: Removing the infill in the upper section eliminates this vibration and results in a clean, smooth finish.

❗ Note on Modifiers: The print profile includes a custom modifier to handle the infill settings mentioned above. Please do not remove or alter this modifier unless you are doing so at your own risk.
