I designed this Baby ALF to bring some serious 80s nostalgia to your desk. He’s cute, he’s fuzzy (well, textured), and he comes with his absolutely favorite, culturally-accepted-on-Melmac snack: A Cat Sandwich. 🙀
(Disclaimer: No actual felines were harmed in the making of this STL. Sorry, Lucky!)
I wanted this to be a fun, easy and clean print for you guys. I’ve spent time refining the texture on his fur so it pops, even on FDM printers.
- The Accessory: The "Cat Sandwich" is a separate part/accessory. It fits perfectly near him so he can contemplate his lunch.
- Multicolor Ready: I’ve already painted the file for AMS/Multicolor users. Just load your brown, black, grey, and bun-colors and hit go!
🖨️ Print Settings
This is a straightforward print, but here is the alpha-alpha-alpha advice:
- Supports: Yes. You will need supports for his snout and hair. Tree Supports are ready for you! they have worked best here and snap off clean.
- Infill: 10-15% Gyroid is plenty.
- Walls: 2 or 3 walls for sturdiness. i stuck with 2 walls and its fine!
- Already painted for you and ready to go! AMS ready!
🚀 Future Upgrades?
I'm thinking Gordon might need more stuff from the Tanner household. A radio? CB Radio? A tiny Hawaiian shirt? We will see if I do anything or nothing at all HAHAHA!
