Description

iPhone Fold 1:1 Replica Model

This model is based on recently leaked CAD drawings of the iPhone Fold, and has been modelled to be as close as possible to those leaks.

The primary purpose of this model isn’t to speculate on internal engineering, but to give you a physical reference you can actually hold. It’s intended to help you compare the form factor to existing foldable phones, understand how it feels in your hand when open and closed, and decide whether it’s worth waiting for the expected release next year.

The folding mechanism exists purely to allow realistic handling and movement, not to represent Apple’s final internal hinge design.

The model includes:

  • Exterior geometry closely matching leaked CAD renders
  • A simple folding mechanism to allow open and closed positions
  • Accurate proportions for real-world size comparison

Versions:

  • AMS version – Give colour to the displays to let you easily understand the usable dimensions
  • Single-colour version – optimised for non-AMS printers

Both versions are dimensionally identical.

Printing Notes:

  • No supports required
  • PLA prints cleanly; PETG should also work (but I haven't tested it)
  • If the fold feels stiff at first, gently flex it a few times to loosen tolerances

⚠️ Disclaimer

This is a fan-made, unofficial model based on leaked CAD renders. Apple has not confirmed final dimensions, materials, or mechanisms.
