Mlock Bipod Sling Stud
Print Profile(2)

Description
I had a tough time finding an M‑LOK sling stud that would properly fit my MDT ORYX bipod—at least anywhere local—so I decided to model one myself and see how it performed. The MDT Oryx bipod uses a round interface, which makes the standard Magpul‑style M‑LOK sling mounts pretty much useless.
This design is a simple M‑Lok mount with a round stud that fits the MDT setup. I’ve taken it to the range a few times now and it’s been holding up without any issues.
It mounts to the stock using standard M5 screws with T‑slot nuts.
Update: Added second longer version of the same model. Made it 7/8 longer to cover the full length of the bipod base. Found it to be more stable.
I have left the original model as some user might not have the available length on their current stock
I tested prints in both PLA and ABS and didn’t notice any meaningful difference in durability. The one I’m currently running is PLA at 80% infill with 12 walls. Print time is roughly 30 minutes.
Hopefully this helps out anyone else running into the same problem.
