Description

This is a keyhole wall mount and bracket to hang an Ikea Rodalm 5x7 frame on the wall securely. This was originally designed for the inkypi project which uses an Inky Impression 7.3" display and raspberry pi zero 2W.  I have been adapting this project to use battery power and be wall mountable. The bracket has standoffs which allows space between the wall and Ikea frame so that you can fit a larger battery and or zero 2w HAT inside the frame (a Witty Pi L3V7 for power management is used in the photos). I have another model that allows for mounting a 6600 mah Adafruit battery inside the frame which can be used along with this wall mount to give enough clearance for wall hanging:  https://makerworld.com/en/models/2070881-inky-impression-7-3-2025-ikea-rodalm-with-battery#profileId-2236704

Use wood screws to mount the bracket to the frame. I used #8 x 1" wood screws but the frame width is a bit tight so I might recommend sizing down on the screws. Pre drill first but be careful to drill straight as the frame width is skinny.  There is a version of the wall mount (plate 3) that allows for adding magnets, this is for my project where I added reed switches to the back of my Impression E-Ink display so that it knows when it is mounted and which mount it is in.
