Description
A lightweight and minimal stand in under 15g filament.
I designed it as a vinyl record stand first and foremost but it will also hold a single CD, DVD, Bluray etc. nicely, as well as most phones or tablets.
Printed/tested on an A1 using Bambu PLA basic, with 15% gyroid infill and no supports. Print time is just over an hour.
I wanted to try and make a minimal vinyl record stand that uses as little filament as possible while still staying strong and sturdy enough to hold records without worry. After modelling a bunch of different designs, playing with angles, shapes yadda yadda yadda, eventually I came up with this. The split design allows a little bit of flex on each side and it holds a record surprisingly well despite being so lightweight.
