hi I was trying to build the all parts one and it doesn’t fit together properly and it seems I’m missing bolts. I also have no clue what some of the stuff is for like the arm attachment and the clips? what am I doing wrong?

Hi, thanks for the comment. It's probably my fault for not explaining what's going on. I numbered the photos (1, 2, 3). I'll explain below. Photo 1 - I circled the bolt you are missing to connect the phone holder to the shoulder. Photo 2 - is a version of the main arm, instead of the large one in photo 3. There is also a bolt for adjusting the tilt. Also, if you want to use the arm for time-lapse recording, it's worth using this combination: the base, the longest joint (photo 3) + the phone mount (photo 1). No additional joints are needed. This will reduce vibration during photography. Also, for a sharper picture, reduce the head movement speed by half, from 750 to 400 (350).

Hi, honestly its great almost perfect but there is no way to attach the parts on to the part where the camera is if you use Z stiffeners for top mount. When you put it on then it hits the Z stiffeners leg and fails to home the nozzle down. Is there a way or a remix that fits with z stiffeners attached? thank you in advance

Could you please take a photo of the problem? The thing is, English isn't my native language, and I think I misunderstood something in your text.

I think I understand! You want to mount the camera here? I thought about it initially, but the problem is there's nothing to hook onto to make it stable. I don't know, I'll think about it some more, maybe I'll come up with something.

thank you for the quick reply but no no it is not the place, i would like to mount it at the same place as you suggested and in the same way but unfortunatelly as you can see in this picture z stiffener for top mount ams lite doesnt let the printer to go all the way down because the arm mount hits it when going down. sorry if it is still not clear what i mean i can either record the video or make better pictures during the day just let me know :) thanks again :)

this turned out great and very sturdy! I like how it’s tough but at the same time not super bulky. it’s definitely a nice set up

I'll say yes, the printout is brilliant, the camera shakes a little, but ultimately it's okay for previewing. It's a shame that to make timelapses with your phone you have to buy an additional device for BambuLab... :(

Thank you very much for the kind review and helpful criticism. I experimented a bit with the head movement speed. If I halved the speed and acceleration, I got a very pleasing result. I took the photo in "Pro" mode on a Samsung S25FE. I don't know how this mode works on other phones. But I've attached an animation of the result. I'll make a short guide tomorrow.

Basically automatic settings (it copes well on its own if there is enough lighting), but I adjust them depending on the color of the plastic.

Being very new to 3D printing, I love this idea for my web cam; does this cause any strain at all?

There are all sorts of rumors going around: some say the printer wobbles, others say everything is fine. But here’s what I’ll say: read the manual, and everything will be okay. 😉
