I'm an old fishing enthusiast who often comes home empty-handed. I keep buying more and more fishing gear, especially fishing reels—for hand rods, surf rods, sea rods... If not stored properly, they get very messy.
I used storage boxes before, but they took up space and were inconvenient. Later, I thought of using 3D printing + pegboard to make a fishing reel hanger myself.

It's very simple to use:

Just place it in, twist, and the fishing reel locks into place. To remove it, just reverse the process; it's very convenient.

I've tested it with spinning reels from 1000 to 4000 series, and they all work. For baitcasting reels and raft fishing reels, as long as the handle is similar, they should also fit.

I used PETG material, which is stronger than PLA and not easily broken. It's also easier to print than ABS and has no odor. The prints come out quite smooth and reliable.

Once installed, the wall is tidy, and the fishing reels won't be piled up or bumping into each other anymore. The pegboard saves space, looks neat, and I can even "show it off" to friends when they visit.

This design came from my own needs. If you also need it, feel free to give it a try. If you have any questions, please leave me a message.
