Custom Picatinny Folding Buffer Tube

This is a folding buffer tube adapter made for airsoft replicas with a Picatinny rail at the rear.
It’s not a stock but a buffer tube, so you can attach whatever stock you like on it.
 

There’s a push button underneath that releases the mechanism which locks in place when opened or closed.
The design is made to be strong, reliable, and practical for airsoft.

Even though it’s printed, it’s built to be sturdy, easy to assemble, and simple to install.

You’ll need a few screws and a spring to complete it:

-3 × M4 × 8mm screws + nuts (for the buffer tube lower part)

-1 × spring (≈ 9mm diameter, ≈ 19mm long) for the push button

-1 × M4 × 30mm screw + nut (to clamp to the Picatinny rail)

-1 × M3 × 40mm screw or longer (hinge pin)

You will need a drop of glue to hold the push button to the lock so they can keep the spring in place
