A1 PRINTER BASE FRONT COVER

I designed this cover to go over the front portion of the printer base on the A1. It's purely cosmetic, easy to install, and adds a dramatic pop of colour to my printer! It also provides an excellent surface to either embed text in the slicer or glue on a nameplate after the fact to add an identity to your printer! Consider pairing it with some of my other cosmetic A1 accessories:

⚠️READ BEFORE PRINTING⚠️

This specific model uses a custom filament setting that enables the fan speed to be consistent throughout the print. This is done to mitigate material shrinkage around the walls due to printing such a large flat surface. The setting is shown under the cooling tab here:

To make sure this is maintained when choosing another filament, please click the “Use Modified Value” button before continuing:

To install, remove the cover for the y-axis belt tensioning access, and slide the cover over the front of the printer. It should align with the access port and press into the opening. Please ensure there is clearance for the heatbed by sliding it back and forth, confirming that no parts are scraping against the cover.

This project has passively been in the works for a while, and more than the other models I'm looking for feedback. What do you guys think? What more do you want to see from it? I'm eager to discuss and grow this concept in the comments below!
