Witch's staff from Hades 2, aspect of Melinoë

Also known as Descura, the staff of Dusk, this is the first weapon you obtain in Hades 2.

It is one of the six Nocturnal Arms: sentient weapons forged by Nix (the goddess of night) alongside the fates and entrusted to Hecate (the goddess of magic) in order to protect the underworld.

These weapons are sisters of the Infernal Arms we find in Hades 1.

ℹ️ INFO ABOUT THE MODEL

This model is designed to be printed in printers as small as an A1 mini (yes, even the 120cm model).

The raw stl files you can download come only in the 60 cm variant. If you want to print the 120 cm model and not use the 3mf files just scale them to 200%.

🖨️ PRINT SETTINGS

If you don't intend on using the printer profiles make sure you are using Arachne as a wall generator. This cuts by a lot the time to print the wood 1, 2 and 3 pieces, as it removes all the wiggle on the inside perimeters.

To avoid problems during use print this with at least 3 perimeters (maybe even 4 for the 120 cm variant). Keep in mind this is a tall and rather thin print so it will break if you smash it too hard, regardless of how many perimeters you print it with.

🔧 ASSEMBLY INFO (assembly guide below)

You will need glue and a small amount of thread to hold the two beads on the sides.

I personally passed the thread between the little moon and the end of the staff, where the closest branch does a steep curve; but if you have a better idea let me know.
