Description

PixelSnap Sphere | Google Magnetic Charger Stand

Elevate your charging setup with the PixelSnap Sphere, a modern, minimalist stand designed specifically for the Google PixelSnap magnetic charger. This isn’t just a utility piece; it’s a geometric statement for your workspace that combines the organic feel of a textured sphere with precision engineering.

⚡ Designed for PixelSnap

Unlike generic stands, this model features a precision-engineered internal cavity designed for a perfect press-fit with the Google PixelSnap magnetic charger. Once seated, the charger stays secure, allowing you to "snap" your phone into place at the perfect viewing angle for notifications, video calls, or Standby mode.

🛠️ Key Features

  • Press-Fit Precision: Designed specifically for the Google PixelSnap magnetic puck for a seamless, cable-managed look.
  • No Supports Required: Optimized geometry allows for a clean print straight off the build plate without the need for messy support structures.
  • Ergonomic Viewing: Holds your device at an ideal angle for desk use or nightstand viewing.
  • Tactile Texture: The sphere features a sophisticated textured surface that hides layer lines and provides a premium aesthetic.

📐 Print Settings

  • Material: PLA, PETG, or Matte filaments look best.
  • Supports: None!
  • Walls: 2–3 walls for a solid feel.
  • Note: Dimensions are fixed to ensure the press-fit tolerances are maintained for the PixelSnap charger.
  • linked adhesive pads recommended if you want to lock your dock down to your desk

Based on the comments (and logic) I modified the design to have an insert at the bottom and filled it with fishing weights. It's still a bit wobbly when you take the phone off, but stays mostly put. The design is exacting and prints out beautifully with Bambu Wood PLA.

Turned out great, the 25w charger I purchased from Amazon fits perfectly, I added a little silicone to the charger so the magnet wouldn't pull it out of the stand. Have you thought about making an additional base that can be weighted and attached to the bottom with screws or glue?

This printed very good and is very stable on my nightstand, added some "anti-skid" adhesive rubber on the bottom and it works great ! Thank you very much!!!

Excellent print, worked well with my Pixel Snap chargers, added just a tiny bit of adhesive tape on the inside lip as my mag case is so strong it wanted to pull the charge puck out.
