Printing Tips:
I went through multiple Kilos of filament finding the best orientation so I suggest leaving all the settings as is. In particular the base NEEDS to be pritned at an angle so that it doesn't split above the drawer and the tubes need to be printed at an angle so there is enough friction to hold the telescoping rod in place but still easy enough to slide. I also highly recommend Bambu Labs Petg-HF for this project as for some reason it seams to glide much better. ( I will be looking into upgrading the turntable in the future) All this to say change the settings and printing orientations at your own risk!
Assembly:
Clean the supports from the bottom of the base. A flat nosed pliers helped get the part clean easily.

Clean the base of the clip spike, yarn hook and the threads of the yarn spike

Assemble the Turn Table
First Ensure the TurnTable Base and the TurnTable Top are free of buggers and defects. Once snapped together they are hard to pry apart though I have had success with a flat head screw driver coming in from the outside edge.

Now align the ring on the base with the snaps from the top and snap together by pressing both together hard . Start in one spot and work your way around.

Then align the turntable with the cutout in the base. Be sure the threaded hole is facing up as this is what the yarn spike will attach to. I do NOT recommend gluing this in as it allows easy replacement in the future if ever needed or you want a color change. IT is held firmly in place in all my prints. It can be easily removed by screwing in the yarn spike and pulling it out.

Telescoping Rod assembly:
This is by far the hardest part of the assembly. First make sure all burs, buggers, are removed from the outer telescoping rod and the inner plunger. You really want to make sure it is free of burs or it will cause greater difficulty shortly.

Ok now take the narrow end of the plunger and insert it into the wide end of the outer tube. Press the plunger until the wide end is flush with the bottom of the outer tube. You may have to wiggle it a bit to get the top end of the plunger through the narrow end of the outer tube.

Now for the difficult part take a crochet hook or other implement and press the plunger as far up as you can. This may or may not be all the way to the top. Flip the rod over and press the plunger until its flush again. Keep working it back and forth twisting it sometimes until it moves smoothly. This can be frustrating and don't be afraid to bang and pound it at first. I found holding the crochet hook on a sturdy table and pounding the plunger up worked well. Once this moves smoothly you can move on.

Once smooth you can add a small dap of super glue to the harn hook and press in the plunger from the telescoping rod. Set aside for 10-15 minutes for the superglue to harden and you are done!

There are slots for the telescoping rod and the yarn spike. The Clip Spike goes in the drawer.
