Description
I just love the Lab Rax 10" Server rack by @mklements but I needed both more ventilation but most of all more storage for things not necessarily ment to be inside a homelab. And since I do most my storage related to IKEA Skadis in one way or another I decided to do a Skadis side but with some further improvement suited to my need of extra ventilation.
Skadis has holes, holes are good for ventilation, what can be better? MORE holes I say!
So this version of sides for the Lab Rax has 2x the holes of a normal Skadis board while still staying true to the spacing allowing for a more flexible usage of accessories based on the Skadis system. Like a battery storage unit or a place to hang a screwdriver.
One model usable on both sides. 3 mm thick as default to fit in the original slot. Since its anchored on all sides in the rack it still have enough strength for quite the load.
