Description
Hexagonal Screw Tray – Parametric and Stackable
Modular system of **small screw trays** with hexagonal compartments, designed for organizing small parts on a workbench, desk, or in a lab. The model is **customizable** and includes both the **tray** and the dedicated **tray holder**, which allows multiple trays to be stacked stably and precisely
This is my **first parametric model** and I would be happy to receive **feedback on how to improve it**. The print profile shown in the photos includes a tray with **8 mm high walls** and a tray holder capable of holding **4 trays**, as visible in the images.
Features
- **10 full hexagons + 4 half hexagons**
- Hexagon dimensions: **32.5 mm** between parallel faces and **37.5 mm** between opposite vertices
- Compact design, ideal for screws, nuts, washers, and small parts
- **Stackable** system with dedicated support
Customizable options: **Tray height, Fillet radius at the base of the hexagons, Height of the tray holder ribs**
This allows the model to be adapted to different needs while maintaining a functional and tidy geometry
