Description

Tired of spilling rechargeable desiccant beads all over the floor? Are you sick of having to slowly and carefully pour your beads through a funnel into another smaller container?

 

Well, this over-engineered and meticulously designed silica/desiccant bead drying container is perfect for you! 

 

I couldn't find anything on this site that fit my needs. I was tired of spilling beads and having to switch from pouring from one small hole, into a funnel and into another small hole. SO… I designed my own container. It is smaller than a spool of filament, it has a large round opening to easily dump desiccant into, and it fits perfectly inside of an AMS, AMS2 or a Sunlu S2 Filament Dryer. This was designed to be used as a way to dry desiccant beads in my Sunlu S2 Dryer, but it could be used to dry filament in your AMS2 Pro.

 

Lastly and the biggest perk with this design… it comes with a threaded plug AND a THREADED FUNNEL that makes pouring your freshly recharged desiccant beads into your container effortlessly!

 

THIS MODEL IS A MUST HAVE FOR ANYONE WHO 3D PRINTS!

 

Model Specifics:

Dimensions: 70mm x 195mm 

 

The slits in the model are 1.5mm wide (It was designed for 3mm beads)

 

It holds about 1kg of desiccant beads, maybe a little more

 

It was printed with adaptive layers to hold quality in certain sections. Overall layer height was .2mm. Has very minimal supports.

 

I printed this in Black EIegoo PETG Rapid using custom filament settings
