🐌 Snail Lamp – Cozy Light Meets Ultra-Realistic Design
Snail Lamp is more than just a light source — it is a decorative design object inspired by nature and brought to life with ultra-realistic details. Fully 3D printable, this model seamlessly combines aesthetics and functionality in a refined and thoughtful form.
The model is optimized with custom print profiles designed to fit small 3D printers with a 180 mm build plate, such as the A1 Mini. This makes Snail Lamp accessible to a wide range of makers and ensures a smooth, enjoyable printing experience. All parts are designed with precise tolerances, requiring minimal post-processing after printing.
✨ Modular & Functional Design
Snail Lamp consists of two main parts:
- Body
- Ribbed shell
The shell is specifically designed to act as a light-diffusing element. When a LED tealight or LED strip is placed inside the body, the light gently passes through the ribbed structure, spreading a warm and cozy glow into the surrounding space. This design ensures soft, even illumination without harsh glare.
🔄 Right & Left-Facing Versions
The model is available in two different orientations, based on the direction of the shell ribs:
- Right-facing
- Left-facing
This allows you to choose the version that best suits your space, making Snail Lamp ideal for placement on shelves, nightstands, desks, or against walls and corners.
🧵 Ultra-Realistic Details
Surface textures are carefully sculpted to reflect the natural anatomy of a real snail. When combined with the right filament and print settings, the layer lines enhance the model’s organic and lifelike appearance. In low-light environments, the warm light glowing through the shell creates an almost living presence.
