There is one plate for each color. I've also included a plate that has ALL the objects so you can print them all at one time.

For my single color print I used Ziro Matte PLA Tri-Color Purple Sunset

For my multiple color print I used only Bambu basic PLA colors. The only “fancy” color is Bambu Arctic Whisper for the stem and spacers (those could be done in white - noted on the plate's label).

A couple of assembly tips:

  1. Good bed adhesion is important for this print. I recommend using a smooth PEI plate or effects plate.
  2. The  stem can warp if there is a draft or poor bed adhesion. This will cause them to not spin properly.
  3. Depending on the filament you use, and how accurate your printer is, you might need to use a de-burring tool or sand paper to slightly shave down the stem where the rainbow and spacers are placed. The arcs should spin with minimal effort. If the spacers are a bit snug, that will not effect the spin of the arcs.
  4. You'll need to use a drop of glue to attach the sun topper. DO NOT get any glue on the top arc.  Make sure the sun is straddling the top arc.
  5. The cloud base is for displaying the rainbow. It should not be glued onto the stem.
  6. There are some raindrops included in this file. They are completely optional. You can see how they are applied in a couple of the photos. I prefer the spinner without the raindrops, but some of my testers liked them. You will need to use super glue and a steady hand to get them placed correctly.
