Description

Here are my two models combined to make an ultimate version with the best traction. The push-on traction ring is bound to fall of after some time because of wear and tear, but in this version the inner ring is held in place by the outer screw-on ring.

Print in the strongest material you can.

Ok so here’s my review! Great work! My only recommendation is that on the centre spikes perhaps consider using a lot more infill to make the item more solid as I managed to break one installing it. Also, the outer spikes have little stand offs so they can create space between the recess in the wheel hub which is great but they’re a little too deep. As they are they stand about 1-2mm too high off the wheel. I took the dremel to them and shaved them in half and they’re perfect. The reason they really need to sit flat against the rim is that if they don’t they have areas there they will flex on turns or if the wheel hits an obstacle. Greta work OP. I’ll keep these on until they break and probably print them again! The last photo shows the gap between the outer spikes with the standoffs at their original height. Bambu P1S, Bambu ABS.

Thank you so much for your honest review, really appreciate it! I hope I've addressed the issues now. I made the inner ring more sturdy by inceasing the ring and spacer thickness by 1 mm. Changed the print profile to use 25 % infill (must have forgot to do this in the first place). I also took 1 mm off the stand off on the outer ring. This is a slightly more tricky issue since the distince to the recess in the wheel may vary depending on wear and tear, how hard you screwed in your outer ring etc. It's easier to shave off some than trying to add material afterwards :) Have a good one and again, thanks for your feedback!

So far so good - seem to work well! Printed in PETG.

the print is excellent only that it finds difficulty when it returns to the charging base 😞
