Gorvath Bonecleaver – the Butcher of the Wastes, feared nearly as much as his brother’s spells.

Part of the Giant / Giant Kin Collection Project, Gorvath Bonecleaver represents the muscle behind the magic. Where his brother Gorth channels hunger into spellcraft, Gorvath turns it into blood, bone, and fear. Enormous even by ogre standards, Gorvath’s bloated frame, oversized hands, and butcher’s tools make his purpose unmistakable. He is not subtle. He is final.

Backstory
Gorvath is Gorth’s older brother and lifelong protector. Long before Gorth learned runes and incantations, Gorvath learned how to kill cleanly, butcher efficiently, and waste nothing. When Gorth’s magic began to draw attention, it was Gorvath who made sure no witnesses returned to tell the tale.

He prepares the feasts that fuel Gorth’s power. Flesh for the pot. Fat for candles and reagents. Bone for charms and trophies. Prisoners rarely see the mage first. They meet Gorvath, hear the scrape of his rusty cleaver, and learn too late why the camps are always so well supplied.

Unlike his brother’s chanting thunder, Gorvath works in silence. His heavy cleaver is kept close to his body, built for hacking blows and brutal follow-through. Chains, hooks, and thick leathers hang from him, not as decoration but as tools of his trade.

Among ogres, the brothers are known as an inseparable pair: hunger and execution, spell and steel.
