Hackpad - a 6 key Macropad
Print Profile(1)

Bill of Materials
- Cherry MX-style switches x 6: These can be from any brand.
- Xiao RP2040 microcontroller x 1: It's super tiny and powerful!
- DSA blank keycaps x 6: You could print these from any model you can find online, or order them for super cheap!
- M3*16 SHCS bolts x 4: These are optional, you could use glue instead to bond together the case or use these to hold it together.
- Case x 1: 2 3D printed parts - Really easy print - you can use my print profile!
- Custom PCB x 1: gerber and source files are available on the github repo! This should also be really quite cheap from any PCB vendor, as it is basically just connections, there are no electronics PCBA'd onto it.
Description
Hackpad - A 6 key macropad
Hi! This is my Hackpad! It's a six key macropad which uses a simple custom PCB, a Xiao RP2040 microcontroller, a few cheap cherry MX-style switches and some blank white keycaps.
This is a really simple, but really functional and overall really cool and fun to build electronics project. It's a great mix of PCBs, 3D printing, and soldering which anyone could enjoy building - I know I certainly did!
Bill of Materials:
- 1x Xiao RP2040 - it's super tiny and powerful!
- 6x Cherry MX Key Switches - these can be generic from any brand.
- 6x DSA Keycaps - You could print these from any model you can find online, or order them for super cheap!
- 4x M3x16 SHCS bolts - These are optional, you could use glue instead to bond together the case or use these to hold it together.
- 1x Case - 2 3D printed parts - Really easy print - you can use my print profile!
- 1x custom PCB - gerber and source files are available on the github repo! This should also be really quite cheap from any PCB vendor, as it is basically just connections, there are no electronics PCBA'd onto it.
There's way more info, PCB files and images on my GitHub repository! Find it here:

Boost Me (for free)
This project took me quite a long time of tinkering and designing. If you liked it, and would like to support a student with his 3D printing passion please boost the model below! I'd greatly appreciate it! :)
