Description
🔷 Press - Lock Bevel Drive 90° – 3:1 (Ø8 mm)
A compact 90° bevel gearbox for Ø8 mm shafts with a 3:1 reduction (18T → 54T). Ideal for projects that need more torque and a clean, compact right-angle drive.
🔷 No Screws for the Drivetrain
Assembly is tool-free: insert the parts and lock the system by press-fitting the countershaft into the large bevel gear.
Once pressed in, it’s secure and not going anywhere.
🔷 Ø8 mm Light Press-Fit + Clamp Option
The shafts are designed for a light press fit.
Additionally, there are 3.3 mm side holes intended for screwing in M4 - bolts to clamp the shafts if needed.
🔷 No Bearings Needed
The shafts run directly in the printed housing using tuned tolerances—no ball bearings or extra hardware required.
🔷 High Torque Capable (Topology Optimized Bracket)
The housing/bracket is topology optimized for strength, making the module suitable for higher torque loads (within the limits of printed plastics).
🔷 Mounting Ready
The bracket includes countersunk mounting points:
- 4 countersinks on each gear for ISO 4762 screws
M4 on the small gear side, M5 on the large gear side
🔷 Flexible Input/Output
Choose either shaft as input or output depending on your build (reduction or speed-up in the opposite direction).
🔷 Material
Tested in PLA (works well). Other materials are possible depending on your needs.
