Fractal Meshify 2 – Clean Front Bezels for Corsair RX140
Hi everyone! I wanted a cleaner look on the front of my Fractal Meshify 2. Since the metal struts in the case bothered me (they cover part of the fans), I simply cut them away.
To avoid a "DIY" look afterwards, I designed these bezels. They perfectly frame the two Corsair RX140 RGB fans and cover the cut edges on the case. The result is an extremely clean look, where the fans are completely exposed and fully come into their own.
Mod Details:
- What was done? I removed the vertical mounting struts on the case front.
- How is it mounted? The bezels are simply placed on the outside of the case and screwed together with the fans. The screws thus hold both: bezel and fan.
- Fit accuracy: The dimensions are precisely tailored to the Meshify 2 and the Corsair RX140 RGB. (other 140mm fans also fit)
Printing Information:
- Material: I recommend PETG, as it can get warm inside the PC. However, PLA should also work if your airflow is good.
- Support: You don't need any.
- Walls: I used 3 wall lines so that the screw holes are stable enough.
I hope this helps anyone who wants to mod their Meshify 2 a bit more radically!
