This model represents a few days of work on making something truly NEW!

I used a number of the bambu lab maker components - listed below for you to purchase, to make this snap together handheld torch.

The plates print fast - I recommend a transluscent clear PETG for the light cover which you can see in the images above.

Quick Build guide -

  1. To put the kit together simply wire up the rechargeable power kit, along with an adapter wire and the LED filament.
  2. Bend the wires and push them into position like in the images above
  3. Slide the electrical compartment into the main body
  4. Snap on the light switch - it has a direction
  5. Snap on the top cover after pushing the filament through the top body of the electrical compartment!

Backstory -

🧪 ARC CELL — RECOVERY SUMMARY

It was not manufactured.

It was recovered—found intact among the shattered remains of an unidentified alien spacecraft. The surrounding debris was molten and uncooperative. The Arc Cell was operational, humming quietly, and clearly judging us.

The device is compact, industrial, and brutally minimal. A single exposed filament is suspended under tension, acting as a controlled photon collision site. When activated, it does not glow—it decides to be light.

Power is drawn from an internal rechargeable cell of unknown composition. Output is stable. Behavior is confident. Failure has not yet been observed, which we find unsettling.

The Arc Cell’s original function is unknown. Likely issued equipment—engineering tool, diagnostic instrument, or symbolic authority object. It was never meant to be comforting.

Eternity Labs adapted the unit for human use. A switch was added. Compatibility was achieved. Certain cosmic expectations were lowered.

The Arc Cell performs reliably in labs, workshops, field environments, and situations where silence would be more intimidating than words.

This is not a torch.
It is a salvaged light containment system.

⚠️ HEALTH & SAFETY NOTICES

  • Do not activate near mirrors, portals, or unresolved emotions
  • Extended use may cause confidence disproportionate to qualifications
  • Filament is not a snack
  • Light may attract dust, insects, or distant attention
  • If device begins humming in harmony with you, discontinue use
  • Not responsible for promotions, cult leadership, or sudden authority
  • If lost, it will probably find you

🔦 ARC CELL — Issued Equipment
World domination, but politely illuminated.
