Description
I saw someone else make something similar for a different desk, so I figured I’d share mine too. This is literally the first thing I’ve ever modeled and printed.
I made it for a practical reason. I wanted my desk to sit the same distance from the wall every time so I wouldn’t destroy my drywall again. Learned that lesson the hard way when my SecretLab monitor arms struck the wall.
Rather than just shoving something back there, I took the time to measure it and model a spacer. Since I already did the work, I figured I might as well share it in case it helps someone else.
Also, ignore the white tape on the baseboard. That’s just my reference mark for centering the desk in the room after moving it (yes, that's my OCD at work).
Since this isn't seeing any loads or anything, I just printed it in PLA. Works great for my needs.
Enjoy, and feel free to use it if it’s useful to you.
