RIPclip sillyshell stripper clip

"so what actually is a RIPclip?"

the RIPclip is a ecosystem of 3d printed sillyshell stripper clips for homemade nerf blasters. the design is meant to be extremely compatible with pretty much any blaster design someone could make and was created with the goal of other creators designing around it.

essentially what this lets you do is have a very high capacity sillyshell blaster that you can reload extremely quickly without having to carry around big giant bulky box magazines.

the source files for the clips are completely free so people can design their own blasters around this ecosystem. i included STEP files in the files collection.

i actually started this as a side project a couple of months ago whilst designing rougehammer and sneakstrike, because i got tired of waiting for silly to release his box mags (not throwing shade or discrediting him in any way, he is a far more talented designer than i will ever be, and i know that full well). i hope everyone enjoys them as much as i do.

Note: please print in bright colors for safety reasons, preferably orange or neon colors.

"what are the clips that have a "QD" mount?"

the clips that have a QD mount option use a "quick detach" plate on the back, which is designed so as to give the clip a function similar to the clips on a KAR98, where in order to release the clip from the blaster, you can simply close the action, which will swing the clip up and out of a built in divot in the blaster. hence the name "quick detach". 

RIPclips that do not have a QR mount instead rely on the built in guide channels to lock them into the blaster. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THEM VIA CLOSING THE ACTION AS IF THEY DID HAVE A QD PLATE, YOU WILL BREAK THEM. INSTEAD, PLEASE JUST REMOVE IT BEFORE CLOSING THE ACTION.

 for people who want to more easily remix these for designing blasters, here is my printables link

all QD plates are printable on any printer.  on a 180mm cubed build plate, any RIPclip with up to a 4 shell capacity can be printed normally without angling it.

on a 256mm cubed build plate, any RIPclip with up to a 7 shell capacity can be printed normally without angling it.

ONLY A PRINTER WITH THE SAME BUILD VOLUME AS THE H2S OR LARGER CAN PRINT THE 12 SHELL CLIP, AND IT HAS TO BE AT A VERY SPECIFIC ANGLE. PLEASE JUST USE THE PREMADE PRINT PROFILE FOR IT.

things i would like to see from remixes

• literally anything using these from leedle dynamics, you make awesome designs.
•  would love to see a remix of battle axe that uses this, but idk how possible that is
