Description

Description:
Simple 3D-printed holder to “park” the suction hose on a GAS 12-25 PL dust extractor so it doesn’t drag on the floor or flop around during storage/transport. The original part from BOSCH was really flimsy and I broke mine after just 2 months.

The design combines:

  • Snap/slide mounting clip (rear fork) that grips an edge/feature on the vacuum body
  • Circular hose cradle that keeps the hose in place
  • Split clamp with a tightening point so you can tune the grip (no rattling, but still removable)

Compatibility:

  • Intended for Bosch GAS 12-25 PL dust extractor
  • Sized for the original Bosch hose that comes with it (or same OD). If your hose is slightly different, scale XY a few percent or adjust clamp tolerance.

Print recommendations:

  • Material: PETG / ASA recommended (workshop temps + impact). PLA works but is less forgiving.

Material required:

Assembly / use:

  1. Mount the rear clip onto the vacuum’s edge/slot where you want the hose parked.
  2. Push the hose into the ring.
  3. If your version uses a screw/knob: tighten only until the hose stops slipping (don’t crush the hose).
