*Smell Match* – A memory board game for your nose!
Print Profile(3)

Description
It is with great pride and joy that I present to you my first entirely self-designed board game.
The concept of Smell Match is simple: it is a classic memory game, but with scents instead of pictures.
You can print everything you can see on the pictures (even on the A1 Mini) and only need a few household items that smell of something.
I created the first prototype for this nice game when my daughter (that's the little nerve-wracking one in my profile pic) was home sick. Following this, the quick idea soon became a major project (- Have you ever tried to design a simple lid with high tolerances? Phew...).
Now to the print files:
There is a profile that is primarily intended for the A1 Mini and 2-color printing.
It uses print pauses for filament changes. No AMS required!
The other profile requires an AMS and can produce prints with 3 or more colors.
There is no embossing here (the lid of the packaging is flat).
The profile is NOT suitable for the A1 Mini due to the lack of a Prime Tower (the model size does not allow that).
I'm also including a profile that only contains a replacement lid, so you can quickly reprint it if you ever lose one while playing.
At the end of this page, you will also find the game instructions in English and German, which you can print out using a 2D printer (funny that this needs to be mentioned here). You should do this, because there are many examples listed that can be used as sources of scent. The game and all the preparatory steps are explained in detail there.
Tip 1
The inserts in each print profile are basically optional, but I strongly recommend printing and using them! On the one hand, they make cleaning easier, and on the other hand, if replacement is necessary, they can be easily replaced without having to reprint the entire container. It is not necessary to print them in colors that match the containers. That is more a matter of taste.
Tip 2
The level of difficulty can be varied depending on the target group.
To reduce it, you can, for example, play with fewer containers.
To increase it, you could print them in a single color so that finding the pairs is even more challenging.
Tip 3
Everything is fully customizable in terms of color design. You can change everything as you like. As you can see, I even used a 3D Effect Plate. I am extremely excited to see your own color combinations!
Important note
Directly after printing, you may find that some lids fit quite tightly on the containers (due to different printer and material characteristics). This has been taken into account in the design and will definitely improve after 1-2 times of playing! Initially, you can easily loosen such lids with your fingernails or with a twisting motion.
Have fun playing!
And do not forget to rate, like, boost or give feedback ;-)
Boost Me (for free)
I have put a lot of work and time into creating this game.
Please appreciate the dozens of prototypes I have made in order to share a good product with the community.
Every boost motivates me to continue. Thanks and happy printing!
