Description

This downloadable 3D model is a nitrile glove holder designed specifically for use with the Honeycomb storage wall system by RostaP.

Features:

  • Compatibility: Seamlessly integrates with Honeycomb storage wall panels.
  • Material: Designed for use with a standard nitrile glove box.
  • Functionality: Holds gloves securely for easy access and organization.

Required:

  • Nitril glove box with the measures (240mm x 65mm x 120mm)
  • 3x Single Insert for HSW (e.g. on MakerWorld)

Printing Tips:

  • Use a filament color that complements your Honeycomb storage wall for a cohesive look.
  • Adjust your printer settings based on the desired strength and durability.
  • Manual support is added where needed.
  • I recommend using PLA that does not string or reduce the outer wall speed to 60-75 mm/s.

Additional Information:

  • Difficulty Level: Easy
  • Print Time: ~4 ½ hours

Changelog:

  • 29/02/2024 - Initial Release
  • 19/01/2025 - Version 2
    • Changed size to match regular US & EU sizes of 240mm x 65mm x 120mm
    • reduced needed support

I hope you find this model useful!

Pardon the potato pic. camera lens is scratched. The print itself was perfect. Unfortunately, the box of gloves I have is too large to fit. Would it be possible for you to either make a larger size(240mm x 77mm x 130mm) or make the step file available so it could be modified to fit a larger box?

Hi, you can download the STL here on makerworld as it's in the raw files. I can also look into creating a bigger version for you. Sorry, I just noticed your comment.

Nothing to apologize for. :) I would definitely appreciate you giving it a shot. Not going to lie, I’m still learning even the basics of CAD and would likely get very lost along the way lol

Hi, I have a question. Most people in the comment section where looking for 240mm x 65mm x 120mm as size. Are you sure you need such a thick size of 77mm? This time I created everything with parameters, so that I can create a new version that is bigger.

Nice design, but my box was too big to fit..! I did read the dimensions but I mis-understood that the sizes gives was for the outside sizes of the holder not the size of the box it could take.! My bad!

Hi @dc.okuda what inner size would you need. I just noticed that @undrpaidtekmnky also asked for a bigger version and I could try to make a bigger one for you.

Hi @GoldichForge While I was able to find a box to fit your file, its more expensive than the brands i normally would get. I think the more common size box that most people have (At least here in the US) is 240x120x65. When i came across your file I had checked all my glove boxes and EVERY box i have is the same size of 240x120x65, with various brands and types (Nitrile, Vinyl, Latex, and Poly). Essentially, your current outer dims are what our box sizes are. Again, great work on the file!

I was ready to rate this 5 stars because it printed clean and supports came off easy and I hate to rate something so low, but it is not the dimensions as listed in the description, therefore I can’t give it a good rating. Per the description it is supposed to fit “Nitril glove box with the measures (245mm x 65mm x 135mm)” but the actual maximum size box you can fit is 233mm x 56mm. I even checked my glove boxes before printing, ***I updated to 4 stars since description was updated to match

Hi, sorry for the wrong information. You are right. I have updated the description. I used the outer measurements when I created the description.

Just as an FYI: I have uploaded a new size of 240mm x 65mm x 120mm for the actual inner area of the box. I hope that helps in case you still need it.

Perfect fit for Harbor Freight branded gloves. it did not fit some other brands but I believe they had more gloves per box than normal.

Clean print, worked well for me. It just barely fit the common (in the USA) Harbor Freight Hardy brand glove box. It was very tight to get in but it fits. The hex was just va bit tight as well, it was tough to get the adapter on and I could hear the infill and walks cracking a bit as I did. Be sure to use even pressure and support the walls as you do. I cut off the brackets on the back with the slicer because I'm going to stick it to the wall, and I scaled it for my gloveboxes. Was very nicely printed with PETG.
