Description

This is a functional replacement or adapter lid for a standard square gully/drain box (often found in outdoor drainage systems). It is designed to allow a direct connection for a secondary drainage pipe while maintaining a neat, professional look.

Features

  • Integrated Pipe Socket: Specifically designed to accept a standard drainage elbow/pipe (as shown in the photos).
  • Integrated Cleanout Plug: Includes a dedicated circular access point with a grip handle for easy maintenance or inspection without removing the entire lid.
  • Reinforced Structure: The underside features a cross-ribbed design to provide structural rigidity and prevent sagging under the weight of the pipe or light foot traffic.
  • Aesthetic Pattern: The top surface features a classic "grid" or "tile" pattern to match common outdoor drainage hardware and blend in with paved areas.

Print Recommendations

  • Material: ASA or PETG are highly recommended for outdoor UV resistance and durability. Avoid PLA as it will degrade in direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Infill: 25-40% (Gyroid or Honeycomb for strength).
  • Walls: 4-6 wall loops to ensure the pipe socket and ribs are solid.
  • Supports: Minimal supports may be needed for the underside ribs or the inner rim of the pipe socket depending on your printer's bridging capabilities.
