Description

This is a set of spacers for plantation style window blinds with box style mounts.  I needed these to offset the mounts, after installing thicker window trim, which would not allow the blinds to be mounted directly to the wall.

These are designed for the box type mounts, which hold the blinds at each end (see pic).

There are also spacers included, with a single slot, which I used to offset the support clips, which are used to support longer blinds at the mid point.

If you need something similar for the clip on blinds (which use a lever), you can find those at the link below:

https://makerworld.com/en/models/2121764-plantation-blind-mount-spacers-for-clip-on-mounts#profileId-2296740

There are several types of spacers included, and all provide a 15.5mm offset from the wall.  If you use these spacers, please keep in mind that the mounts will require longer screws.  These may not be suitable for all blind installs, since they were only made for the blinds I'm using.

I don't suggest using these on especially heavy window blinds.  Use your best judgement to decide if they will be appropriate for use with your blinds.  Use these models at your own risk.

Included on plate are a dual mount (for mounting blinds end to end), and a center U-shaped brace mount spacer.  The dimensions for the parts are shown below:

The second plate includes connectors, which can be used to connect the valance parts together.  Note that these are a tight fit, so it may be best to print one and see if it works, before printing multiples.  They can be scaled if needed, but I was able to use them at 100%, and they fit fine.

The profile is included, along with a STEP file.  If you remix this, please keep the same license on the remix, and credit this model as the remix source.

If you find these models useful, please post a like or a comment with some pics of your prints.
