Rigol MHO98 Cover
Print Profile(1)

Description
A protective cover that snaps onto the front of the Rigol MHO98 (the limited production edition of the new MHO900 series).
I do not know if this will fit the rest of the MHO900 series. Unlike the other models, the '98 has a metal faceplate and the features this cover relies on might be different on the plastic-fronted models.
This oscilloscope has no symmetric features to allow the cover to be fitted in either orientation. As a way of communicating correct orientation, I engraved simple line graphics of some of the scope's front panel features. In the photos above I tried to using a fine paint pen to make them stand out.
Because of its size, only an H-series printer could print this as one part. This required splitting the cover down the middle. The two halves attach with a friction fit using half-blind tapered dovetails in the middle and some simple rails on the edges. I have printed tests of this joint several times without issue, but only with the uploaded profile (0.20 Standard and front-down) and only with Creality CR-PETG. Some force is typically necessary to get the final layer line “click” for a flush fit.
