Description

This is a case for a voltage converter.  It can be used for any application, but my specific application is amateur radio-based.

No hardware is needed.  The lid is a friction fit to the base.  It is secure, but it can still be removed (carefully).

The zBitx radio runs on 6 - 9 volts and the QMX+ can run on either 9 volt or 12 volt.  The Drok buck converter can provide a controlled step-down voltage with overload protection so you can run your radio from a 12v LiFePo4 battery safely.

The converter is available on Amazon at: https://www.amazon.com/DROK-Converter-5-3V-32V-Regulator-Transformer/dp/B078Q1624B/ref=sr_1_1?sr=8-1.  It is the REES-1822 can states it can handle 5 amps without auxiliary cooling.
