Description

Do you have an old Ultimaker 3 and you want it to use 1.75mm filaments so that it can use the same filaments with your Bambu Lab printer?

To do that, you have three things to do:

(1) Modify the feeder for 1.75mm filament.

(2) Modify the hot-end for 1.75mm filament by inserting a piece of 2x3 PTFE tube into the hot-end.

(3) Modify the printer setting in Cura for 1.75mm filament.

This model is for item (1). I design a small “pipe” so that it can feed the 1.75mm filament smoothly. As shown in the picture, the installation is very simple.

If you also want to move the spool to the left-hand side of the printer, you can print the “corner” part. If right-hand side is desired, the corner part can be mirrored before printing. For this, you also need to get two PC4-M6 and a small segment of 2x4 PTFE tube.
