Full Travel Chess Set - Folding Board Box w/ Latch

This elegant travel chess set comes complete with standard Staunton-style pieces that are stored in the foldable board. The chessboard/box has an elegant wood grain pattern etched into the sides, and a latch mechanism to keep the foldable board closed securely for storage of all the game pieces.
 

AMS is recommended but not required, however you will need to color/paint/sticker the chess board tiles yourself if not using an AMS.

100% 3D printed, and no tools are necessary for the very simple & quick assembly.

No supports are needed for the print, with only the small latch spring requiring a brim.

The latch pieces print with the White pieces on Plate 4, and the hinges print with the Black pieces on Plate 3 (note that the pieces shown were printed with the Translucent PETG profile, included as a separate print profile on this model--but everything is otherwise identical).

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

For the folding game board, insert the hinges into one side of the board first as shown, then clip both halves together and press firmly together.

For the latch, place the latch part through the triangular cutout inside the box, then place the curved spring piece over the protruding part outside the box, and finally screw the knob on firmly from the outside as well.
