Description

⚙️ Tiny Marble Run – Motorized Edition

A tiny kinetic toy… now with electric drive 🎉

This remix takes my original Tiny Marble Run and gives it a smooth, fully automatic motion by replacing the hand crank with a Bambu motor module. Same compact format, same satisfying loop.

The wheel lifts 12 mm marbles from the bottom to the top, where they drop back onto the track and repeat the cycle.

This version also uses a planetary gear system, which drives the wheel in a steady, elegant motion — it’s surprisingly fun to watch and gives the whole mechanism a more refined feel ⚙️✨

🧰 Assembly Guide

Below is a short step-by-step guide to assembling the motorized Tiny Marble Run. Each step is supported by a GIF, so you can follow along visually 👇

1. Attach the angled connector to the track

Mount the connector to the marble track with the slanted side facing forward.
Use M3×10 screws — the holes are designed to self-tap, so you don’t need inserts or pre-threading.

2. Install the motor in its mount

Slide the motor into the holder, positioning it roughly in the middle, then push it all the way up.
Insert two M3×25 screws through the mounting holes and secure them with M3 nuts in the side slots.
Feed the motor cable out through the small side opening.

3. Mount the lifting wheel onto the motor

Place the wheel over the three guide pins.
Gently rotate the outer wheel until the internal gear aligns with the motor shaft.
Once aligned, press the inner part down so it seats firmly onto the shaft.

4. Attach the track to the motor assembly

Use the bottom connector to join the track and motor mount.
Secure it with M3×10 screws from underneath.

5. Add marbles and power it up

Drop your 12 mm marbles onto the track and connect the motor to power.
Sit back and enjoy the continuous loop 🌀

I put a lot of personal time into each project I share here 🕒❤️. I do it knowing there's no real profit—apart from sharpening my skills 🛠️ and the joy of contributing something useful or fun to others 😊.
The points I earn on this platform help cover only a small part of the filament I use to create these models 🎯.

If you ever run into printing issues, please take a moment to check if the cause might be on your end 🔍🖨️.
Even with all the advancements in 3D printing, proper calibration, bed adhesion, filament choice, and profile settings still play a big role in the final result ⚙️🎛️.

Negative ratings affect a project’s visibility 📉 and reduce the number of downloads, even if the issue wasn't with the model itself.
If something's not working, please don’t hesitate to message me 💬—I'll do my best to help or clarify things 🙌.

This is just a small part of my life, but it’s a big part of my passion 💡. I’m constantly learning and improving 📚, and your thoughtful feedback makes a huge difference 💬🌱.
