Description
We just purchased a new Torchmate 4800 plasma table. After just a couple run I noticed the water/Plateguard being splashed up onto the laser unit. After speaking with someone else, they said they had to replace the lens multiple times on a unit they used at another company.
I figured printing a cover was the best solution. Taking an extra few seconds to remove the cover to align a new sheet or to do a dry run is well worth the time.
Printed in TPU. The cover has tight tolerance on the hex head of the laser lens so it is a press fit. The leash is long enough to wrap around to the laser cable so that it will hang from the unit once removed from the laser lens.
