Description

Just a basic binder ring. We use them for holding together flash cards in our school district. Prints flat and has spring tension to hold the clip together. Print in either PETG or PLA with lots of walls for strength and durability. Roughly a gram per ring, and they print pretty quick.

You can always add just a dot of CA glue to lock them permanently too, if you don't need to change what they're binding.

a little thin for my project. I increased it a bit but it doesn't stay closed as well. Works ok for now

Sorry it wasn't great for you. When I was testing I found some materials better than others, not sure what you were using, but PLA actually was better than PETG because PLA isn't as flexible. Can definitely see how these might be a bit thin for different projects. They aren't a super tight closure, but if you need extra strength, a dot of CA glue will permanently join it, and since they use almost no filament I haven't felt bad about cutting it off if whatever you're binding needs to change. Thanks for the feed back though, I like to hear how the things I come up with work or don't work for people.
