BOGGLE BigTime - Bookcase Edition

BOGGLE BigTime is a 2 to 4 player timed word game where players have 5 minutes to find as many words as possible on a 9x9 grid of letter cubes. Words are formed by connecting adjacent letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, and each letter can only be used once per word. To score, players write down their words, and after time is up, only unique words (not duplicated by other players) are counted, with longer words earning more points.

INFORMATION

All parts were printed with PLA filament (matt works great for games). I use a textured plate for adhesion and no supports are needed. Some parts will need to be superglued. The bookspine is glued to the flat side of the bookcase box.

GAME COMPONENTS

The BOGGLE BigTime Board Game set includes a built-in 9x9 Board, 81 six-sided lettered dice and a Bookcase Edition storage box that doubles as the game board.

BOOKCASE EDITION BOX

The BOGGLE BigTime Board Game includes a Bookcase Edition box with a slide top. This bookcase edition box can be stored on a shelf with your other matching bookcase edition games.

The bookcase edition box includes a storage area and built-in playing grid for the 81 dice. It also includes additional space to shake up the dice as well as an area to store a 5 minute timer, pens, rules and paper pads. To mix up the dice, simply add dice & close the lid, turn the box upside-down and shake the box gently. Then, turn the box upright and gently shake to settle the dice into the 9x9 grid. Open the box, set your 5 minute timer and play BOGGLE BigTime.

BOGGLE BigTime GAME RULES

When the board is revealed, start the 5-minute timer. Players try to form words by connecting adjacent letters horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Each die may be used only once per word.

After 5 minutes, all players stop writing. Compare lists—duplicate words across players are crossed out and score no points.

BigTime Bonus: Award +5 extra points to the player who finds the longest word.
