Sci-fi Wine-Bottle-Cartrigde with docking

The Cryopod 3000 is a sci-fi inspired wine-bottle container (I guess you can put other things in it to), also including a docking option that has a button activated light-box with red and green leds that will change color when the cartrigde is fully inserted into it. Finally, I can store my wine in a proper manner, just like you would any respectable spaceship / starbase!

This is also a very good way to gift wine to a sci-fi geek, no wrapping paper needed :)

The text on the labels are applied in Bambu Studio, so it is easy to change it or remove it.

To get the "docking leds" to work, you need a short piece of RGB led strip, and a standard position switch. Wire the +V directly to the strip, and -V to the COM on the switch, and the red and green signal to the strip from each contact on the switch, so that when the switch is not triggered it will light the red leds, and when the switch is activated then it will change to green. 

If you want the same look as mine, here's how I made them:

I printed the cartrigdes in Bambu Matte Black, then spraypainted them white, glued on the orange washer and buttons on the lid, and then scraped off a little paint at random sharp edges to get a weathered look, very happy about the result! But I think these would look great in other coloring options as well, metal filaments would probably work well.
