Description

Hello everyone!  This is a replacement barrel for the Nerf Strikefire/Crossfire that features a two dart inline clip.  I recently purchased this well loved red Crossfire, and I figured it would be a fun candidate to make some quick and easy replacement parts for. Since most blasters nowadays use half length darts, it also made sense to have this blaster be compatible with them also.  Plus, after I took some measurements, I realized that there was enough length in the reverse plunger barrel to be able to hold two darts, which means that an inline clip was on the table!

I always try and design my parts in such a way so that they can be printed with minimal support material, but sometimes supports are unavoidable, which is the case for this replacement barrel. The replacement barrel uses the stock o-ring and requires no additional hardware.

The inline clip barrel functions just as intended, but it can still fire full length darts if you so choose.  Visually, the replacement barrel isn’t an exact copy of the original barrel, but hopefully it is a close enough imitation for those who are interested. I had a ton of fun working on this project, and I hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I have!

This part pairs exceptionally well with the Strikefire/Crossfire Picatinny Rail Mount Replacement Part that I designed, which you can check out HERE
