Model

I have been working on a modular system for wall-mounting Craftsman V20 system batteries and chargers.

 

Modular Craftsman V20 Battery Storage System:

  • Two Craftsman v20 batteries mount into this Dual Battery Holder modular block
  • Multiple Dual Battery Holder modular blocks can be chained together with the dovetail mounts
  • A modular charger mount, included in the second plate, dovetails onto the bottom of this Dual Battery Holder.
  • The assembly can be screwed to the wall.

This is the Craftsman V20 Dual Battery Holder modular block for a Modular Craftsman V20 Battery Storage System.

 

Setup to print for strength:

  • Oriented on the print plate for strength
  • 3 walls
  • 15% gyroid infill
  • Minimal supports are provided for overhangs

These are AWESOME! Great print. the fit is a little snug to push them together but overall excellent. You should make a handle that slides onto it as well for a grab and go.

My most useful print yet! Snug fit between pieces, but the battery snaps in place well. Printed in PLA. Great design.

I haven't printed a second one yet to see how they fit together, but the first one holds the batteries well.

Lot's of clean up but that was more on my end using PETG Matte Grey with the wrong settings. Charger and batteries fit perfectly

dovetail clearance is a little tight

very tight fight on the 2pieces had to use rubber mallet to convince the pieces to go together but good design
