Description
I use a desk lamp mounted above my monitor, like a ScreenBar
However, the desk lamp's light sometimes shined directly into my eyes, so I made a shade to block the light
This shade is divided into three parts and designed so it does not interfere with the desk lamp's arm
It is also designed not to hit the switch on top of the lamp
The three parts are assembled with a slight overlap to prevent light leakage from the joints
When viewed from the side, the shade forms a gentle arc
Utilizing its flexibility, the shade attaches by gripping the body of the desk lamp
Therefore, installing and removing the shade is easy
Previously, I published an extension pole for desk lamps (https://makerworld.com/models/2023718)
Using this pole allows you to raise the height of the desk lamp, and by combining it with this shade, you can use the desk lamp more comfortably as a ScreenBar
I printed with small supports enabled to ensure the shape of the overlapping sections at the shade's joints
The material is PLA Matte Charcoal
The desk lamp in the photo is a Yamada Shomei Z-LIGHT (Z-10) LED desk light
