Description

AMS2 Pro Filament Spool Clip that is specifically designed for the AMS2 Pro!

And yes, you can absolutely use it for AMS Lite, Original, and just plain Spool Clips

CLIP GOES RIGHT UNDER THE 2 HOLES ON THE OUTSIDE, ALL FOUR SIDES ARE FINE.

I scoured MakerWorld for a filament clip that works with the AMS2. Looked at pretty much every one available and printed dozens of models that looked promising, unfortunately most were let downs.

They all either nicked, scratched, bumped or just completely rammed right into the guide inside the AMS2.

So I figured I'd try a different approach. Changed the placement completely.

Now it truly clears the AMS2 system!

Give it a try, I guarantee you'll like it!

A set of 4 clips take 16 minutes and use 3.5 grams total.

I like to print my clips in the same filament as on the spool for a better color preview.

Filament can be slid in, or pressed into the notch.

Please keep in mind.. every filament, printer and spool has different tolerances..

Clips should be tight, so they don't fall off. If you want to pop them off, just push through from outside with a pen or piece of filament.

(don't pry them off)

Profile is for PLA

If printing in PETG make sure it's dry and your settings are dialed in, if you have stringing they will not work very well.

Hope you enjoy!!
