🌧️ Water Catch & Drip Management

This base tray sits at the bottom of your Milsbo greenhouse to catch runoff from watering and prevent moisture from pooling on the cabinet floor. By containing water where it belongs, you can water more freely without worrying about messes.

🌿 Passive Humidity Support

Once placed inside the cabinet, the tray holds water that gradually evaporates, helping raise relative humidity around your plants without the need for a dedicated humidifier. Many growers use bottom trays with media (such as LECA or lava rock) to increase humidity inside enclosed cabinets — a common strategy for Milsbo builds.

Real-world results (my setup):

• Helps maintain ~70%–85% humidity with no additional humidifier
• Only weatherproofing used is a simple door-gap seal strip
• Large trays filled with pre-soaked black lava rock (approx. 1.8 lbs per tray)
• Smaller infills use white perlite
• Media is typically re-soaked during watering, roughly every 7-9 days (timing will vary depending on your preferred humidity level and environment)
